ERS Field Representative – Auto Club Group (AAA)

💼 Employment Type: Full-Time

📍 Location: Remote (U.S.)

💬 Job Overview

Auto Club Group (AAA) is looking for a dedicated ERS (Emergency Roadside Service) Field Representative to support its contractor network from a remote/home-based setup. In this role, you’ll play a strategic part in ensuring that AAA’s roadside assistance contractors meet performance standards, maintain service excellence for members, and adhere to operational metrics. This is a high-impact, remote yet field-oriented role that combines analytical oversight, relationship management, and on-the-ground contractor support.

📋 Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the club’s interests within the contractor network, visiting and engaging with roadside service providers to build relationships and reinforce service standards.

  • Analyze territory data and performance metrics to identify where additional contractors or support are needed, and help optimize coverage and efficiency.

  • Screen and evaluate potential contractors to ensure they meet AAA’s facility and service requirements; facilitate onboarding and training.

  • Monitor contractor performance (KPI tracking, cost per call, response times) and collaborate with contractors to develop improvement plans.

  • Handle escalated member complaints or complex high-priority claims, providing guidance and ensuring member satisfaction.

  • Maintain documentation of contractor performance, territory adjustments, contract renewals, and industry best-practice research.

🧩 Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred.

  • 3 + years of automotive industry, roadside service operations, or contractor management experience.

  • Strong analytical abilities — ability to review business situations, metrics, financials, develop solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport, negotiate, influence contractors and stakeholders.

  • Valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record (due to travel component) — frequent travel expected (up to ~60-75%).

  • Comfortable working remotely with a home office setup, but also performing field visits as required.

Why You’ll Love This Job

This role offers the opportunity to blend remote flexibility with on-the-ground impact. You’ll work with a trusted brand (AAA), engage in meaningful operations that directly affect member experience, and take on a role that’s strategic rather than strictly reactive. You’ll have the support of training, the autonomy to manage territories, and the chance to make a measurable difference in service quality.

🌟 Who This Job Is Perfect For

  • Professionals with experience in the automotive, service, or contractor-management space who want to move into remote + field hybrid work.

  • Individuals who thrive on data, performance metrics, and coaching/improving service networks.

  • Remote-work seekers who are also comfortable traveling and engaging face-to-face when needed.

  • Strategic thinkers who enjoy relationships, influence, and improvement over purely execution-oriented tasks.
