📋 Key Responsibilities
Manage inbound and outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments.
Deliver warm, courteous service to patients and address their questions or concerns.
Accurately enter and update patient information and appointment details.
Communicate appointment instructions clearly and professionally.
Resolve scheduling conflicts or issues promptly.
Work collaboratively with clinical teams and internal departments.
Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments or provide reminders.
Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions.
Participate in remote, classroom-style training.
Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
🧩 Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required; some undergraduate coursework preferred.
1+ year of customer service experience (call center preferred).
Friendly, patient-focused demeanor and comfort supporting older adult populations.
Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time-management abilities.
Reliable integrity and professionalism in a remote setting.
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
Proficient PC skills; basic Excel and EMR experience preferred.
Must have U.S. work authorization.
Remote Work Requirements:
Prior remote work experience.
High-speed internet with ability to hardwire to modem/router.
Private, distraction-free home office.
Reliable dependent care during working hours.
Ability to travel onsite occasionally if within 50 miles of Oak Street Health locations (IL/NC hubs).
Ability to participate fully in virtual training.
