Leading Edge Connections (LEC) is hiring a Chat Support Representative to help customers through chat, email, and occasional phone support. 📋 Key Responsibilities
  • Support customers via chat, email, and phone using Gorgias and other CRM tools.

  • Assist with orders, password resets, website support, and product troubleshooting.

  • Use macros, tags, and workflows to streamline responses and maintain consistency.

  • Document all interactions accurately and follow up on pending issues.

  • Identify recurring customer trends and communicate them to leadership.

  • Handle multiple chats at once while delivering quick, empathetic resolutions.

  • Prioritize customer requests and escalate high-risk situations appropriately.

  • Remain professional and positive across all customer interactions.

  • Maintain strong attendance and responsiveness during scheduled shifts.

🧩 Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1–3 years of call center, chat, or ticketing experience required.

  • Previous CRM experience required (Gorgias strongly preferred).

  • Ability to type 30 WPM at 90% accuracy or higher.

  • Strong written communication, grammar, and messaging etiquette.

  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and use multiple systems at once.

  • Familiarity with chat acronyms and the ability to use conversational language appropriately.

  • Prior work-from-home experience preferred.

  • Comfort meeting client metrics and performance goals.

  • Technical Requirements:

    • Personal desktop or laptop (no Chromebooks, tablets, or MacBooks)

    • Intel® Core™ i5 5200 series or higher; minimum 4 performance cores

    • 8GB RAM (Windows 10 or above)

    • Dual monitors required

    • Stable high-speed internet with ethernet connection

    • USB noise-canceling headset

    • Up-to-date antivirus software and enabled firewall
