In this role, you’ll guide claimants through their Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other non–Short-Term Disability leave experiences with empathy, accuracy, and compliance.

📋 Key Responsibilities
Analyze FMLA, state, military, and employer-specific leave policies to determine claimant eligibility.
Communicate with claimants via phone and email with professionalism and clarity.
Build trusting relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Manage assigned work queues while meeting service-level agreements (SLAs).
Participate in team-based problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Support department-wide projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
🧩 Requirements
2–3 years of experience in FMLA or unpaid leave claims management.
Strong decision-making abilities and critical thinking skills.
Medical or vocational management knowledge.
Excellent customer service abilities with strong interpersonal communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Outlook).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to prioritize workloads in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
