As a Client Retention Specialist, you’ll work directly with at-risk clients enrolled in Beyond Finance’s financial hardship debt-relief program. Your job is to educate, empathize, deescalate, and retain clients who may be questioning the value or direction of their program. Through inbound calls, you’ll guide clients through emotional, financial, and logistical challenges — helping them understand the program’s benefits and make informed decisions.

This is a deeply meaningful role for someone who loves problem-solving, connection, and helping clients stay on track toward becoming debt-free.



📋 Key Responsibilities


  • Educate clients on the structure, benefits, and value of Beyond Finance’s debt-relief program.

  • Empathize and deescalate concerns from clients experiencing financial stress or frustration.

  • Navigate the CRM system to access client records, update progress, and document all interactions.

  • Assess financial situations to develop tailored options aligned with each client’s goals.

  • Retain clients by building trust, identifying solutions, and reinforcing program value.

  • Achieve retention goals and earn commissions tied to client success and program continuation.

  • Deliver best-in-class customer service, anticipating needs and responding through multiple communication channels.

🧩 Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in Retention, Sales, or Collections (Required).

  • High school diploma (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus).

  • Ability to handle high call volume in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong negotiation and de-escalation skills.

  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM platforms.

  • Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening skills.

  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking abilities.

  • Adaptability to changing processes and new financial solutions.

  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and inclusion.
