📋 Key Responsibilities

Depending on your background and alignment, your role may include some or all of the following:

Technical Consultation

  • Partner with enterprise clients to translate AI ideas and business goals into scalable systems using Zapier’s orchestration platform.

  • Design workflows that integrate AI agents, automation layers, and multi-tool architectures.

  • Identify customer pain points and convert them into technical solutions, product ideas, or service concepts.

Hands-on Solutioning & Deployment

  • Build and deploy customized AI workflows that drive measurable outcomes.

  • Serve as an extension of customer teams through implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization.

  • Collaborate with Zapier’s engineering and product teams to ensure customer insights inform platform evolution.

New Program Development

  • Ideate, launch, and scale new operational or customer-facing programs that support AI adoption.

  • Create repeatable processes, playbooks, and methodologies that improve customer outcomes.

  • Address fast-moving SaaS challenges with creativity and an experimentation mindset.

Commercial & Revenue Execution

  • Run value modeling sessions, workshops, and discovery calls with customer teams.

  • Help drive adoption, expansion, and long-term success with enterprise accounts.

  • Evangelize Zapier's citizen-developer and AI-forward approach.

🧩 Requirements

Ideal candidates should demonstrate most of the following:

  • 7+ years of experience in high-impact roles such as consulting, systems integration, technical operations, platform strategy, or AI-driven business transformation.

  • Strong understanding of AI, automation, LLM adoption, and workflow design.

  • Proven record of delivering results in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and build structure where few guidelines exist.

  • Experience designing, deploying, or managing complex technical systems.

  • Strong customer-facing communication skills, including facilitation and value storytelling.

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams.

  • Comfort with data analysis and tools like Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, vlookups).

  • A builder’s mindset — someone who loves creating, iterating, and improving systems.

  • No formal education requirements (Zapier will request your most recent educational experience only for background checks).
