BroadPath is hiring experienced Healthcare Customer Service Specialists to support members, patients, and providers through inbound and outbound calls. In this role, you’ll handle benefit questions, appointment scheduling, referrals, billing inquiries, and account updates — all while delivering a compassionate, accurate, and professional experience.

📋 Key Responsibilities


  • Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to assist members/patients with benefits, services, and scheduling needs.

  • Provide accurate information on plan coverage, eligibility, authorizations, and healthcare services.

  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.

  • Process referrals, prior authorizations, prescription renewals, and case updates.

  • Help members with claims questions, billing concerns, and account changes.

  • Review insurance eligibility and document all updates in EMR/CRM systems.

  • Communicate with healthcare providers and internal teams through phone, secure messaging, and email.

  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations.

  • Escalate complex issues to supervisors or specialized departments when needed.

  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and timely.

🧩 Preferred Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

  • 1+ year call center experience handling high call volume (required).

  • 1+ year healthcare or insurance industry experience — member services, provider services, patient services, benefits coordination, etc.

  • Demonstrated job stability with at least one year in prior roles.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information.

  • Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems with accuracy.

  • Private, dedicated home workspace and reliable high-speed internet.

  • Knowledge of EMR/CRM systems; experience with EPIC, Facets, or similar software is a plus.

  • Understanding of medical terminology or insurance terminology preferred.
