💬 Job Overview

Yelp is looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative (Account Executive) to help small local businesses grow through Yelp’s advertising solutions. In this fully remote, phone-based sales role, you’ll connect with business owners across the U.S. and Canada, understand their goals, and tailor advertising programs that support their success.


This is a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment where resilience, energy, and communication skills matter. You’ll manage your own sales pipeline, make high-volume outbound calls daily, and work within a supportive virtual team that celebrates wins and encourages continuous improvement.


📋 Key Responsibilities
  • Make a high volume of outbound calls to small business owners, educating them on Yelp advertising programs and customizing solutions to fit their goals.

  • Work a set Monday–Friday schedule (7:30–4:30, 8:30–5:30, or 9:30–6:30 your local time).

  • Manage a pipeline of leads and active clients in Salesforce (dentists, florists, restaurants, and more).

  • Master discovery, objection-handling, and quick close techniques to consistently achieve monthly quotas.

  • Guide prospects from initial outreach through qualification and close, ensuring satisfaction and identifying future upsell opportunities.

  • Track daily metrics, stay ahead of goals, and maintain a strong work ethic in a remote environment.

  • Become expert-level in Yelp advertising products and help business owners understand their value.

🧩 Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED + 2+ years of customer-facing experience OR a bachelor’s degree.

  • Comfort with high-volume phone-based sales and outbound dialing.

  • Strong multitasking skills — navigating tabs, screens, CRM tools, and virtual meetings effortlessly.

  • Ability to work independently from a distraction-free home office.

  • Tech-savvy with new programs (Google Suite, Salesforce) and able to pick up tools quickly.

  • Resilient, curious, persuasive communicator with a competitive, goal-driven mindset.

  • Must have U.S. work authorization and reside in the Western U.S. region.
