Annuity Health is hiring a Remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative responsible for collection and account‐resolution on hospital and physician services. You will manage claims status, rebill or appeal as needed, communicate with insurance payers, and ensure accurate receivables processing—all from your home office.
📋 Key Responsibilities
Provide customer service to healthcare contract customers and insurance payers.
Prepare, research and collect from contracted health insurance payers.
Review remittances and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Arrange for missing information, submit corrected claims or appeals when required.
Request adjustments, identify items needing client assistance, and track payer trends.
Perform other duties as assigned.
🧩 Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years of college preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience preferred in medical billing, insurance collections or healthcare revenue cycle.
Knowledge of UB04 and HCFA claim forms; experience with EPIC system preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication, high attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
