This is a field-based role ideal for early-career sales talent or merchandisers who want to break into beverage sales with an iconic, high-energy company.
You’ll be the face of Liquid Death in retail stores, strengthening relationships with store managers, optimizing product placement, expanding distribution, and helping drive velocity across convenience stores and large-format retailers. The schedule begins early (7 AM start) and offers consistent weekday structure, with occasional weekend support.
This role requires residency in or near Chicago and involves 100% field travel using your personal vehicle (with a vehicle reimbursement program available).
📋 Key Responsibilities
Acquire new retail accounts and increase distribution, product velocity, and point-of-sale growth.
Identify and target independent retail partners across the inner-city Chicago territory.
Maintain strong relationships with store managers and retail employees.
Execute daily in-store merchandising: product rotation, shelf stocking, display building, and presentation standards.
Ensure products are fully in-stock, clearly displayed, and compliant with store requirements.
Pull damaged, dented, dirty, or out-of-code product from shelves and notify internal teams as needed.
Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) to maintain freshness.
Maintain and set up in-store equipment such as fridges, racks, and POS materials.
Conduct 10–15 store visits per day:
~3 days/week focused on 7-Eleven
~2 days/week supporting large-format retailers
Communicate store-level opportunities to internal stakeholders.
Support distributor crews and participate in sales blitzes in surrounding markets.
Drive Liquid Death sales and visibility across the top 200 retail accounts within the territory.
🧩 Requirements
Minimum 1 year of field sales or merchandising experience, ideally in beverage or distributor environments.
Experience working with DSD teams, merchandisers, or multi-channel retail networks (preferred).
Strong in-store selling capabilities and merchandising execution skills.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable registered vehicle, and auto insurance required.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or drive for extended hours.
Self-starter with strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
Knowledge of retail environments is a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 30 miles from home and to begin work at 7 AM daily.
