Coalition Technologies is hiring a full-time Accountant to support its growing, fully remote global team. In this role, you’ll manage core accounting functions including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting analysis, and tax preparation. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
This is a hands-on accounting role ideal for someone who enjoys both day-to-day financial operations and higher-level financial analysis. 📋 Key Responsibilities
Record all financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks Online.
Reconcile general ledger accounts, journal entries, and bank statements.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Analyze financial performance metrics to improve cash flow and operational efficiency.
Compare budgets and cash flow forecasts against actual results.
Prepare and submit quarterly and annual tax filings at the city, county, state, and federal levels.
Collaborate with internal departments to support financial planning and reporting needs.
Complete additional accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
🧩 Requirements
Competency in preparing local, state, and federal taxes for a small company.
Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience preferred.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and written communication skills.
Experience using QuickBooks Online; QuickBooks Desktop knowledge is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs preferred.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Comfortable working under deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week), Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM PST.
Startup experience preferred but not required.
