As a BDR at Percona, you’ll be responsible for both outbound prospecting and inbound follow-up to uncover new sales opportunities. You will create awareness of Percona’s open-source database solutions, nurture leads, and schedule qualified discovery calls for the sales organization.

📋 Key Responsibilities
Create awareness and interest in Percona’s solutions through value-based outreach.
Research and identify key decision makers within target accounts.
Execute high-quality outbound communications: calls, emails, video messaging, LinkedIn outreach, and more.
Follow up on inbound marketing leads; nurture prospects until sales-ready.
Schedule qualified discovery meetings for the sales team.
Document activity in the CRM with clear, accurate notes.
Use advanced prospecting techniques, including account research, custom cadences, and social selling.
Collaborate closely with sales to ensure smooth handoff of qualified prospects.
Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high outreach volume.
🧩 Requirements
Experience & Skills
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years of technology sales experience with a strong outbound focus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proven experience building relationships via phone, email, and social platforms.
Ability to handle a fast-paced workload and adapt in real time during prospect conversations.
Strong CRM documentation habits and attention to detail.
Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, Google Workspace, and similar platforms.
Able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Ability to work across multiple EMEA time zones.
