Zillow is hiring a Buyer Connections Team Manager to lead a high-performing, remote team responsible for connecting Zillow users with trusted local real estate professionals. In this role, you’ll balance performance management, coaching, and operational leadership — ensuring exceptional customer experiences while driving efficiency and engagement.


This position is ideal for experienced people managers who enjoy developing teams, analyzing performance metrics, and leading through change in a collaborative, customer-centric environment.



📋 Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor team performance using KPIs and provide timely coaching and feedback.

  • Lead impactful team meetings and 1:1s to drive clarity, engagement, and development.

  • Analyze trends and report insights to senior leadership.

  • Manage scheduling, attendance, and workflow to meet business needs.

  • Identify and implement process improvements with both short- and long-term impact.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally as a subject-matter expert.

  • Serve as an escalation point, coaching employees through issue resolution.

  • Communicate clearly across Slack, email, documentation, and meetings.

  • Support team readiness and alignment through organizational change.

🧩 Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a contact center, customer service, or sales environment.

  • At least 1 year of people leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong performance management and coaching skills.

  • Results-oriented leadership style with a strong customer service foundation.

  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and frequent change.

  • Comfort using tools such as Tableau, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance admin work and coaching.

  • Willingness to work weekends or early/late shifts as business needs require.
