Netsmart is seeking experienced, certified Coding & OASIS Reviewers to support quality and compliance efforts across post-acute care documentation. In this PRN role, you’ll review OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding for accuracy, sequencing, and reimbursement impact — all while working fully remotely with flexible scheduling.
This role is best suited for certified coders with prior OASIS experience who are comfortable working independently and meeting productivity and quality benchmarks.
📋 Key Responsibilities
Review OASIS assessments and document recommended changes in approved systems.
Review ICD-10 coding and sequencing based on patient chart documentation.
Ensure documentation workflows are completed accurately and on time.
Document reasons for changes and recommended reimbursement impact.
Consistently meet chart-equivalent productivity targets and quality metrics.
🧩 Requirements (Required)
At least 1 year of medical coding or OASIS review experience.
Active HCS-D certification.
Active HCS-O or COS-C certification.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proven ability to meet deadlines consistently.
Demonstrated learning agility and openness to professional growth.
