💬 Job Overview
As a Health Claims Specialist, you’ll investigate, bill, and follow up on health insurance claims to secure maximum reimbursement for Revecore’s hospital and provider clients. You’ll work with commercial health plans, Medicare, and Medicaid claims; process UB04 and HCFA 1500 forms; resolve denials; and support accuracy through research and reporting.Revecore provides robust training starting on day one and ongoing support to ensure you’re set up for long-term success in a high-impact revenue recovery role.
📋 Key Responsibilities
Investigate, research, and follow up on insurance claims across commercial health plans, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Bill claims using correct UB04 and HCFA 1500 forms, including subrogation information when applicable.
Process claims related to auto accidents and other special billing scenarios.
Conduct timely follow-up to determine claim status and provide or collect necessary information for resolution.
Work in EPIC and other billing systems to analyze claim details, resolve issues, and submit claims accurately.
Maintain productivity and quality metrics within a fast-paced remote environment.
Support audits, denial management, reports, and team-wide claim resolution activities.
Collaborate with team members while maintaining strong attention to detail.
🧩 Requirements
Experience researching, billing, or resolving claims for commercial health, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Knowledge of UB04 and HCFA 1500 billing forms.
Familiarity with billing in auto accident scenarios (preferred).
Experience working in EPIC (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work across multiple computer screens and software systems.
Strong performance in a metrics-driven environment.
