💬 Job Overview

CareCentrix is hiring Healthcare Customer Service Experts to serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking home healthcare services and providers requesting service authorizations. In this role, you’ll work in a fast-paced, high-volume inbound call center handling approximately 60–65 calls per day.


You’ll assist with service inquiries, submit new service requests, and support coordination for items such as durable medical equipment and home health services — all while maintaining accuracy, empathy, and HIPAA compliance.



📋 Key Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound calls from patients, providers, and referral sources.

  • Handle approximately 60–65 calls per day through an inbound queue.

  • Submit and track new service requests (e.g., wheelchairs, wound care, diabetic supplies).

  • Provide status updates on existing service requests.

  • Navigate multiple systems using a dual-monitor setup.

  • Accurately document information to support end-to-end care coordination.

  • Meet performance metrics including quality, AHT, attendance, and adherence.

  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA/PHI regulations at all times.

  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.


🕒 Training & Schedule
  • Formal Training & Nesting:• First 5 weeks• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST

  • Post-Training Schedule:• Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM EST

  • ⏱️ Includes scheduled breaks and a 30-minute lunch.📌 Evening or schedule adjustments may occur based on business needs.

🧩 Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment.

  • At least 1 year of healthcare experience with medical terminology.

  • Ability to type at least 30 WPM while actively listening.

  • Comfort navigating dual monitors and multiple applications.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

  • Strong attention to detail, empathy, and patience.

  • Passing score on the SHL Customer Service Phone Simulation Assessment required.
