Yelp is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to join their remote small-business sales team. You’ll work directly with local businesses across the U.S. and Canada, helping them meet their goals through Yelp’s advertising programs. This role is 100% remote, phone-based, and fast-paced, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Ideal candidates reside in the Central or Eastern U.S. time zones.
As a Sales Representative, you’ll educate business owners, recommend tailored advertising solutions, and manage a pipeline in Salesforce. Success is measured by exceeding monthly quotas, meeting daily metrics, and thriving in a high-energy, supportive virtual environment.
📋 Key Responsibilities
Educate and strategize with business owners about Yelp advertising programs.
Conduct high-volume outbound calls and manage client communications remotely.
Own and maintain a pipeline of local business clients across industries (restaurants, florists, dentists, etc.).
Recommend product solutions to meet client needs and drive results.
Navigate the sales process from initial call to close, ensuring customer satisfaction and upsell opportunities.
Track daily and monthly goals to consistently exceed quotas.
Collaborate with virtual team members and participate in team meetings.
Adapt to new tools and software (Google Suite, Salesforce) and implement training feedback.
🧩 Requirements
GED/High School Diploma with 2+ years customer-facing experience or Bachelor’s Degree.
Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling and phone-based sales.
Strong computer and email skills; proficiency with Google Suite required.
Reliable, distraction-free remote work environment.
Ability to multitask, manage priorities independently, and handle rejection professionally.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and reside in the Central or Eastern time zones.
