SteadyMD is hiring experienced Nurse Practitioners for a part-time, contractor-based virtual care role. In this position, you’ll deliver care through scheduled video visits, manage treatment plans, review labs, prescribe medications, and support patients through follow-ups and portal messaging.
This role offers predictable, guaranteed hours, recurring weekly shifts, and full administrative support — allowing you to focus on patient care rather than logistics.
📋 Key Responsibilities
Conduct virtual patient evaluations via scheduled video visits.
Complete intake assessments and treatment planning for adult patients (18+).
Review lab results and prescribe medications, including GLP-1 agonists when appropriate.
Respond to patient questions via secure chat and patient portals.
Manage prescription refills, lab follow-ups, and chronic care coordination.
Provide evidence-based, inclusive care within clinical best practices.
🧩 Requirements
Active Nurse Practitioner licenses in at least 15 U.S. states.
Residency in one of the following states: AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NY, OH, PA, TX.
AGNP-BC or FNP-BC certification (ANCC or AANP).
2+ years of independent NP practice preferred.
Experience in weight loss care and GLP-1 prescribing highly preferred.
Telemedicine and chronic care experience strongly desired.
Background in internal or family medicine preferred.
Experience with compound medications is a plus.
