National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, is hiring a PIP/MedPay Claims Associate to investigate, evaluate, and adjust advanced automobile claims.
In this fully remote role, you’ll confirm facts of loss, determine coverage and liability, assess damages, and negotiate claims within your authority. This position plays a key role in supporting customers after an accident and ensuring accurate, timely, and fair claim resolutions.
You’ll work with a variety of claim types, including property damage and potential injury claims, and grow into more advanced or specialized roles as you gain experience.
📋 Key Responsibilities
Apply advanced understanding of company insurance policies and industry standards.
Investigate auto claims thoroughly, including coverage, liability, and damages.
Review and evaluate basic to moderate injury claims (if assigned).
Identify body parts of a vehicle and assess property damage details.
Deliver strong customer service to meet customer needs.
Identify subrogation opportunities or fraud indicators and determine appropriate action.
Work independently within increased authority levels, with opportunities to advance into specialized roles (Coverage, Investigation, Total Loss, Initial Handler, etc.).
