📋 Key Responsibilities
Collect on outstanding balances for assigned payors to ensure maximum reimbursement.
Work aged accounts, process appeals, submit corrected claims, and resolve discrepancies.
Research and reconcile credit balances; process adjustments when appropriate.
Interact with payors, billing teams, and management to ensure timely collections.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CLIA, and internal standards.
Demonstrate strong professionalism, teamwork, and time-management skills.
🧩 Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
1+ year of medical billing or revenue cycle experience required.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
Experience with medical billing software and EHR systems.
Ability to stay current on industry trends and regulatory updates.
Comfortable with light physical requirements (up to 20 lbs.) and general workplace tasks such as computer use, communication, and movement.
