Carnegie is hiring a Social Media Specialist to manage both paid and organic social media initiatives for higher education clients. In this role, you’ll lead paid social campaigns across major platforms while also guiding organic audits, content strategy, and social listening efforts.

📋 Key Responsibilities
Paid Social Media Campaign Management
Launch and manage paid social campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, and Reddit.
Monitor and optimize campaign performance using metrics such as CPC, CPA, conversion rate, and impression share.
Manage budgets, bidding strategies, audience creation, and ongoing A/B testing.
Continuously optimize campaigns to improve performance and efficiency.
Organic Social Media Services
Lead organic social media audits, including performance analysis and content reviews.
Develop organic content strategies, monthly content calendars, and insights decks.
Guide social listening projects to analyze sentiment, conversations, and brand mentions.
Align organic strategies with paid media efforts to create integrated social approaches.
Partner directly with clients to support growth and reputation management.
Reporting & Analysis
Analyze performance trends using platform data and Looker Studio dashboards.
Translate data into actionable, client-facing insights and recommendations.
Proactively identify optimization opportunities to improve results.
Internal Collaboration
Collaborate with internal social and marketing teams across paid and organic initiatives.
Stay current on social media trends and platform updates.
Contribute to blogs, webinars, and internal/external thought leadership content.
🧩 Requirements
2+ years of experience managing paid and organic social media campaigns.
Hands-on experience with Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Snapchat, Reddit Ads, and/or TikTok Ads.
Experience conducting organic audits, content strategy, and performance reporting.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to manage independent workloads while collaborating with a team.
Excellent communication and time management skills in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing or Advertising preferred).
Familiarity with Asana or other project management tools is a plus.
